3/4 cup
3/4 cup
1/2 cup
2 tsp.
1/2 tsp.
1/2 tsp.
2 tsp.
1/2 tsp.
1
1/2 cup
3 Tbls.
1 1/2 cups
1/2 cup
Flax Seed, milled
Graham flour
Whole Wheat flour
Sugar
Baking Powder
Baking Soda
Salt
cinnamon
Nutmeg
Egg, beaten
Milk
Vegetable oil
Apple Pie Filling
Walnuts

Oven Temp: 400°
Recipe Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Pan Type: muffin pan

Apple Pie Muffins Directions

Preheat your oven and spray your muffin pan with non stick pan spray.

In a large bowl combine the flax seed, graham flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg, mix well and set aside.

In a seperate bowl combine the beaten egg, milk and oil.
Stir into the dry ingredients and mix well.

When completely mixed fold in the apple pie filling and nuts.

Fill each muffin tin 3/4 of the way full and bake for the allotted time or until tested done by inserting a toothpick into the middle of one muffin.

Recipe Yields: Makes 6 large muffins or 12 regular muffins.

* Flax Seed, can be purchased as whole seed and blended until fine powder.
